A neon cardinal core with a tinge of purple, the 2019 l’usine Annapolis Ridge Vineyard is the boldest of the three wines. In the glass, the wine moves a tick slower than expected with ripe black cherry, blueberry, fresh California oregano and other red fruits. With prominent weight, the palate is rife with cranberry, strawberry, orange peel and even a touch of black plum in the resinous mid-palate. Gorgeously textured with a hint of tannin, the acidity from the Sonoma Coast brings the wine to an effortless close of power.
