WINEMAKER’S NOTES 
An intense resonance of deep purple, Equinox 17 opens with focused aromatics of black plum, clove, cedar, leather, coriander and a touch of minerality. Multi-dimensional and layered on the entry and throughout, the palate is youthful with a spirit of adventure and timeless energy. Prominent notes of blackberry, black plum (again!) , currant, star anise and hoisin. A page turner, the finish culminates cyclically with elegance, length and a waxy, encased dark chocolate coulant topped with a blackberry compote.

71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Syrah, 9% Petit Verdot, and 6% Malbec from the 
Monte Rosso, William Hill, Taplin and Stagecoach Vineyards
 
MATURATION 
Aged 16 months in French Oak Barrels, 70% New
