The 2021 All Grown Up presents a dark garnet core with a tinge of purple on the rim. The nose is incredibly direct with classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon notes of ripe black currant, coastal chapparal, star anise, wild sage, cedar box and melting chocolate chips. The entry on the palate is awe inspiring – rich and decadent with notes of black and blue fruit compote, black tea and hints of sweet licorice. Textured with structured yet softened tannins, the wine closes at length with a touch of espresso bean.
NONFICTION
The 2021 Non-Fiction exudes a dark mauve with a purplish-maroon rim that lingers on the sides of the glass. Brooking aromatics of black and blue plum, leather, olive tapenade and potting solid give way to bright notes of apricot, peach and even a touch of white flower. Layered on the palate, immediate notes of chocolate covered espresso bean, reduced blueberry and black fruits fold into a close of supple, tantalizing tannins.
