Initials

A solid violet with a glowing crimson rim, the 14th Equinox pops with aromas of wild blackberry on a Diablo Wind day, brambly raspberry, ripe black fig with hints of vanilla cream and pain au chocolate. Perceived sweetness on the nose is juxtaposed by a dry yet lush palate of wild strawberry, boysenberry and (again) raspberry with a touch of allspice. The acidity holds through the finish with some soft oak tannin - l a English breakfast tea - -yes - on the cream and sugar.
