2021 Double Take
NAPA VALLEY MERLOT
Making an entrance, the 2021 Double Take saunters with a deep maroon core with a red velvet rope rim that effortlessly coats. Blackberry, Santa Rosa plum, brioche, Madagascar vanilla, and a touch of char and exotic spices come from the glass. The entry is an amalgamation of ripe red fruits like raspberry and redcurrant, buttressed by notes of blueberry and more plum. Textured and chewy, the palate provides luxurious depth while retaining a balancing acidity and lift, finishing with ample tannins that slowly mature away.
