The lucid ruby of the 2021 China Doll emanates from the glass. Immediate aromatics of juicy strawberry, cherry tart, a touch of blackberry and a hint of rose open. Similar profile on the palate with ripe strawberry, fresh crème and a touch of minerality is balanced by proud acidity. A finish of surprising length, the wine closes with candied watermelon and a refreshing taste.
