A vibrant rose petal hue with an amber rim, the 2020 China Doll opens with a plethora of aromatics: fresh strawberries, raspberry tart with fresh cream, a touch of jasmine and eventually candied watermelon. An enveloping entry with notes of yellow peach pith and Bing cherry lead to a mid-palate of Honeycrisp apple and sweet melon. A lively finish marked by refreshing acidity gives way to the same candied watermelon on the nose.
