A magenta core with a lucid carmine rim, the wine opens with hints of boysenberry, stewed blueberry, crushed lilac, lavender and espresso bean. The opening salvo on the palate hits with red currant, raspberry, sage, cured meats and other red fruits. The finish pulls forth the soft texture of English Breakfast tea and closes at length with chalky tannins and lingering blackcurrant.
