WINEMAKER’S NOTES
The 2023 Scattered Stones commands presence. From first gaze, the red purplish core transports you to the red volcanic soils at Stagecoach Vineyard. Immediate notes of amalgamated black fruits: black berry, black cherry pie, black plum, along with brown sugar on the nose. The palate has similar tones of blackberry, black pepper, blueberry preserves, violets, baking spice and a hint of Madagascar vanilla. Firm yet integrated tannins round out the blend and close gracefully.
