EQUINOX Edition 19 – Purgatory

An opaque purple core with a glowing crimson rim, Equinox 19 in the glass simply turns heads. Opening aromatics of opulent plum, Mendocino forest floor, boysenberry jam, sage, redwood, dark chocolate and baking spices declare themselves. Sublime and polished on entry, the palate expresses notes of blackberry, duck confit with a touch of orange, rosemary and gorgeous lamb tagine. The tannins provide a balanced texture, leading to a finish of ripe plot, raspberry and a hint of char.
