The 2020 Burnt Sacrifice pours a glowing scarlet with a pale salmon rim into the glass. Opening aromatics of freshly picked wild strawberry, raspberry and a touch of saline, clove and sandalwood emanate. On the palate, the entry is youthful with a mid-palate of sweet cherry, fig leaf, thyme and a hint of soft oak tannin. Fresh on the finish, the wine closes with a lifting note of candied cherry and a quenching acidity.
