2020 Double Take
NAPA VALLEY MERLOT
An opaque maroon with a glowing cardinal rim, the 2020 Double Take opens with aromas of blackberry liqueur, mushroom risotto, cedar and mixed peppercorn blend. The palate continues with similar complexity showing off a Mission fig and black plum galette topped with a touch of fresh cream, crispy Belgian waffle and a hint of tarragon. Grippy on the finish, the wine closes cleanly with a lasting note of boysenberry.
